Agripharm is a licensed producer of cannabis in Creemore, Ontario. Founded in 2013, Agripharm is home to both the first cannabis production facility built from the ground up in Canada and the first supercritical CO2 extraction lab in the country.
Agripharm uses state-of-the-art grow pods that provide controlled grow environments, allowing for both consistent quality of production and selective R&D projects designed to improve product quality through isolated experimentation. In our network of pods we simultaneously grow a range of strains, each in a specialized environment optimized for that strain’s particular needs. Our high-quality strains such as Green House Seed Co.’s sativa-dominant Franco’s Lemon Cheese are able to reach their genetic potential through the long flowering times and optimal temperatures, humidities and nutrients that they require. Agripharm is also engaged in tissue culture propagation in an in-house lab led by Segra International Inc., a Canadian agritech company specializing in tissue culture and molecular genomics, to improve product consistency and mitigate the risk of persistent genetic health issues from mother plants.
Agripharm buys and sells a range of cannabis products and is proud to have strategic partnerships with Green House Seed Co., SLANG Worldwide, and Canopy Growth Corp. Agripharm has exclusive Canadian rights to the IP, strains and brands of Green House Seed Co., the preeminent global provider of cannabis genetics, and its sister brand Strain Hunters. Through its partnership with SLANG, Agripharm also has exclusive Canadian rights to the IP and brands of SLANG Worldwide, a US-based manufacturing and distribution CPG company of branded cannabis-infused products including the widely adopted O.penVAPE. Through our partnership with SLANG, we have gained access to the proprietary extraction methods of its production arm Organa Labs, the longest operating licensed manufacturer of cannabis-infused products in North America.
